My goals are not coming easily, and I have felt frustrated and flooded with questions.
Am I meant to do this? Am I good enough? What more do I have to do to get there? What am I not understanding about my situation that I need to learn?
It inspired me to write this post as a way to remind myself, and hopefully inspire you, on what to focus on…and it’s perseverance, not patience.
I can’t force myself to be patient but I can focus on making consistent, steady effort towards my goals. Related to this, Lauren introduced me to a new term in Hindu philosophy that we both love:
Abhyasa अभ्यास
Persistent practice to attain and maintain a state of physical, mental and spiritual tranquility.
Taking advantage of this week’s full moon in Taurus, I’m going to charge forward on my To Do List in hopes that my persistent effort pays off soon. It may not bring tranquility, but I know it will bring me closer to my goals. I can breathe into that and let go of frustrations, limiting beliefs, and negative self talk.
What persistent effort can you give today to get closer to your goals?
Love Life,
Chandra
